Nelly’s sister died of leukemia in 2005. Since then, he hasn’t been writing songs. Then, his sister came in a dream. She told him to write a song to sooth him. Listen to the song. The lyrics have so much more meaning now…

hahahaha I teach my first lab tomorrow. The lab syllabus copies I made today are a hot mess in the sense that they are stapled in the lower left corner, each page has the same thing on the front and back, and some are upside down. these students are going to think that I’m really incompetent. whoops. I hope they learn to love my clumsy and entertaining tendencies
